IP Address Lookup — What Is My IP?
See your public IP address and its location instantly, or look up any IPv4 or IPv6 address to find its country, city, ISP, ASN and whether it is flagged as a proxy, hosting or mobile IP.
What is my IP address?
Your IP address is the public identifier your internet connection presents to every website you visit. This tool reads the IP your request arrives from and resolves it to an approximate location — country, region and city — plus your ISP, the network ASN, and connection-type flags. To check a different address, paste any IPv4 or IPv6 IP into the box.
What an IP lookup reveals
- Geolocation — country, region, city, postal code and timezone (approximate, IP-based).
- Network — the ISP, organisation and ASN that owns the IP.
- Type flags — whether the IP is detected as a proxy, a hosting/datacenter IP, or a mobile carrier IP.
IP lookup FAQ
How accurate is IP geolocation?
Country-level accuracy is near-perfect; city and region are usually right but can be off by a city, because the data reflects where the IP is registered, not your exact address.
Can I look up any IP address?
Yes. Paste any public IPv4 or IPv6 address to see its location, ISP and network details. Private and reserved ranges cannot be located.
Why does my IP location look wrong?
If you use a VPN or proxy, the lookup shows the exit IP location, not your own — which is exactly what residential and mobile proxies are for.
Is this IP lookup free?
Yes, free and unlimited, with no signup.
