Start NowIP Address Lookup
See your public IP and its location instantly, or look up any IPv4 or IPv6 address — country, city, ISP, ASN and whether it is a proxy, hosting or mobile IP.
What is my IP address?
Your IP address is the public identifier your internet connection presents to every website you visit. This tool reads the IP your request arrives from and resolves it to an approximate location — country, region and city — plus your ISP, the network ASN, and connection-type flags. To check a different address, paste any IPv4 or IPv6 IP above.
What an IP lookup reveals
Geolocation (country, region, city, postal code, timezone), the ISP and ASN that own the IP, and whether the address is flagged as a proxy, a hosting/datacenter IP, or a mobile carrier IP. Geolocation is an estimate based on where the IP is registered, not your exact address.
Frequently asked questions
How accurate is IP geolocation?
Country-level accuracy is near-perfect; city and region are usually right but can be off by a city, because the data reflects where the IP is registered.
Can I look up any IP address?
Yes — paste any public IPv4 or IPv6 address. Private and reserved ranges cannot be located.
Why does my IP location look wrong?
If you use a VPN or proxy, the lookup shows the exit IP’s location, not yours — which is exactly what residential and mobile proxies are for.
